Mother Duck No.1 [9084]

While walking around a public park, I noticed a duck in the underbrush, next to the trail, sitting on a clutch of eggs. She was not happy about being photographed, but luckily for me, she wasn't going to run away either. This photo is part of my Ducks & Ducklings Set.

 

The shooting conditions were not great, as I had to shoot in between plants, and work within the very narrow Depth of Field at 200mm nearly wide open. This is full frame width (slightly cropped on the top and bottom to 8x10 ratio), shot from about 5 feet.
