Hierapolis: the North Necropolis – VII

Small rectangular tomb with its partially preserved vaulted roof supported by two protruding pillars. The main facade exhibits a small entrance framed by travertine blocks. A small window opens at center of the vault. The sizes of the building are too small to access inside the tombs. The relatives of the deceased could only lean towards the inside and perform the funeral rites through the small door.
