U.S. Army Watervliet Arsenal
_DSC3183
With the Arsenal going live on May 23 with the Army's Logistics Modernization Program's Increment 2, just about every manufacturing operation will now be tracked via new computer programming. At the start of cannon production, a cannon tube is heated up to nearly 2,000 degrees. After the tube has been forged, it is moved to a cooling area before it goes through a heat treatment.
