DDC "Getting Ready"

We are "getting ready" for the next dead elk or deer that appears near our biking route. Unlike the day before, Shyla left the elk leg leaned against the tree when I called her rather than bringing the elk leg to me. We are training to rid Shyla of the bad habit of ignoring me when she finds something dead in the forest. Because we have abundant predators like mountain lions and human hunters, it happens regularly. All of this training is for Shyla's safety and my peace of mind.
