Sharpened to a razors edge, this knife blade consists of 3CR13 stainless steel. In other words, it is as hard as tool steel or a surgeons scalpel, and harder than 440 stainless. The Pisces deploys as a switchblade, or a manual opener. The switchblade functionality is used via rotating the hidden switch. You can also open it manually with the thumb stud. The manual open feature provides this knife with a stealthy operation. Most usual people holding it will not even know it is a switchblade with a hidden release.

 

The fast switchblade hidden release is powerful enough for immediate deployment. Once deployed, the blade locks into position and holds it's ground very well. We have tested the deployed blade lock and it has succeeded where other Automatic Knives have failed. This is a very sharp knife with a hard steel type. It will have fewer sharpening sessions and hold it's razor sharp edge longer. This is the real expression of a good knife.
