Wall outlets are terrible leakers of air to the inside of the home envelope. This one is behind a knee wall in a bonus room and exposed to unconditioned space. One solution is to buy the little foam inserts that go behind the outlet cover. While they do stop some of the air penetration, they don’t keep your walls from getting cold from the air circulating through them.
