Bunker Hill Monument
Erected to commemorate the Battle Of Bunker Hill where the ungrateful colonials took on the British army in the first meaningful engagement of the revolution. 'Twas a Pyrrhic victory in the end for the British but battle had been joined. The monument went up between 1827 and 1843 and measures 221ft. 294 steps but it's free!
