de Havilland DHC.1 Chipmunk T.22 No. 199
de Havilland DHC.1 Chipmunk T.22 No. 199 was delivered to the Irish Air Corps at Casement Aerodrome on the 26th February 1965. The aircraft became an asset of the Basic Flying Training School at Air Corps Station, Gormanston. In 1974 the aircraft was re-deployed to Casement Aerodrome, becoming an asset of the Advanced Flying Training School.
The fuselage of de Havilland DHC.1 Chipmunk T.22 No. 199 is seen in the Irish Air Corps Museum hangar at Casement Aerodrome. The fuselage behind it is that of de Havilland DHC.1 Chipmunk T.20 No. 172.
