Item caption/descriptive text, back: 4. Den König reute sein Versprechen. Der Schneider sollte zuerst das gefürchtete Einhorn im Walde erlegen, ehe er die Königstochter zur Frau bekäme. Er zog in den Wald und reizte das Einhorn. Das wilde Tier rannte auf den Schneider zu, um ihn zu durchbohren. Der verbarg sich hinter dem Baumstamm und hatte nun das Tier, das sich mit seinem Horn festgebohrt hatte, gefangen. = The king regretted his promise. He decreed that the Tailor must first kill the dreaded unicorn of the forest before he could marry the king's daughter. The Tailor went into the forest and taunted the unicorn. The beast ran at the Tailor to pierce him with its horn. He dodged behind a tree, and thereby caught the animal, which had stuck its horn into the trunk.
