APVA Main
The main Photo of my APVA (All Purpose Vehicle Armored). I just tinkered around with the chassis of my old truck and produced this... Thing ... over a few episodes of Psyche.
Yeah, It has a few (*eh-HEM!*) features included. I just had to post a lot of pictures of it to show off. It was a pain trying to get that window on the door to function AND open, but it was conquered. Made sure that the figure fit in, but that also had it's setbacks. The door kind of bulges when the figure is put in, and there isn't a lot of room for it. The head scrapes the top, and the windscreen has to be removed in order for the figure to be fit in properly.
It at first did not have the crane, but I placed it in after some afterthought. I wanted the winch to be on the front of the vehicle, but I decided that it looked too much like my previous build. And, I wanted a different grill design (Kind of looks like a 70's Chevy sedan...?).
The turret on top is really something all together. It is literally bending bricks. I connected the mudguard things with the 1x1 modified bricks that have the little dent with the stud ( This thing ) to keep them together and forming the circle/ oval. It also had to fit in a 6 brick long space, using SNOT and stuff. I'm glad that it is done and looks decent, but it was a very big thorn in my side 'till the whole thing was done.
