Brigadier General Michael Rouleau, Commander of Canadian Special Operations Forces Command, (CANSOFCOM) passes the Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM) pace stick from outgoing RSM Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Tom Verner, to incoming RSM, CWO Mike Gauley.

The Canadian Special Operations Regiment (CSOR) held a Change of Command and Change of Appointment parade on June 25, 2014, at Garrison Petawawa where they welcomed Lieutenant Colonel (LCol) Steven Hunter and Chief Warrant Officer (CWO) Mike Gauley as their new Commanding Officer (CO) and Regimental Sergeant Major (RSM)

Since its inception, CSOR has continuously provided the Government of Canada an overt military signature, SOF effects through Strategic Engagement. In times of crisis, CSOR provides a robust, flexible, high-readiness expeditionary force deployable around the globe and here at home in Canada.
