Canadian Forces - Patrol Pathfinder Course Selection 2014 (Valcartier, Quebec)
Du 5 au 9 mai 2014, 39 militaires provenant des trois bataillons (Force régulière) du Royal 22e Régiment ont participé au processus de sélection des candidats du 5e Groupe-brigade mécanisé du Canada (5 GBMC) qui prendront part au prochain cours sur les opérations d'éclaireurs-patrouilleurs (Pathfinders). Axée sur l’intensité, la phase finale de ce processus qui s’est déroulé à Valcartier consistait à conduire des opérations d’insertion héliportée dans différents environnements. Les candidats retenus du 5 GBMC se rendront à Trenton (Ont.) du 22 septembre au 10 novembre prochain pour suivre leur formation.
From May 5 to 9, 2014, 39 soldiers from the three battalions (Regular Force) of Royal 22e Régiment participated in the selection process of candidates from 5 Canadian Mechanized Brigade Group (5 CMBG) who will take part in the next Patrol Pathfinder Course. Based on intensity, the final phase of the process that took place in Valcartier was to conduct helicopter insertion operations in different environments. Successful 5 CMBG candidates will travel to Trenton (Ont.) from September 22 to November 10 to follow their training.
