This year has seen more Covid

(Delta…Omicron)

I’ve rather had enough now

Don’t want it to go on

 

I have a plan that suits me though

It’s really rather cool

And it won’t disturb my neighbours

At this special time of Yule

 

I’ve stocked up with the things I like

My shopping is all done

Everything is planned just so

It’s time to start the fun

 

I’ve not invited family

To share a sumptuous meal

No friends this time to call on me

That really don’t appeal

 

I’ve put up holly (berries red)

But I haven’t got a tree

My Christmas will be spent in bed

Just my animals and me!

 

(Don’t bother ringing the doorbell, I won’t answer.....Bliss....).
