Dog and Bee

I'm not so happy with my poem for this one, but not to publish it would deprive you of Andrea's artwork. Tomorrow's will be better, as we come to the end of our Lockdown 2 entertainment. Anyway, here is the poem for what it's worth.

 

We’ve just come out of Lockdown 2

Now we can meet a friend

It depends on which class Tier we’re in

How many can attend

 

Bee and I are in Tier Two

(That’s better than Tier Three)

We still must social distance though

And can’t be quite carefree

 

But it’s good we can meet up again

And do our favourite walk

To catch up on each other’s news

It’s good to have a talk

 

We’re not sure if the vaccine

Will be applied to pets

Bee’s quite sure he won’t get it

(Nor will most as yet)

 

So lets be glad we can get out

And meet a friend again

‘Cos it doesn’t do us any good

To stay in and complain.
