There’s one thing here that we don’t get

It makes us wonder why

You live up there, where it’s not wet

And there is too much sky

 

I’m not sure how to say this

Or quite where to begin

I hope you don’t think that I’m rude

But, well, you’ve got dry skin!

 

Surely that’s uncomfortable

And how d’you breathe that air?

It must be hard to move around

It must be a nightmare

 

We pity you, so cumbersome

When you’re stuck on the ground

It must be hard to get about

How DO you get around?

 

You can’t go up, you can’t go down

Unless you use machines

But us? We just can swim about

(And as for your latrines!)

 

So really now, be honest

If you had a wish

We know what you’d be wishing for

You’d wish to be a fish!
