Silver Y Moth (Autographa gamma)

When going round to mend my grandson's scooter my daughter (who hates fluttery insects) spotted this beauty on her geraniums in the front garden. As luck would have it I was coming back from a quick walk in the forest and had the camera in the car. These moths are quite common immigrants but this is the first I've seen this year.
