Two For the Price of One

Two for the price of one. Excellent showing of the kingfishers yesterday and at one stage they even obliged by sitting on the same branch. The first brood are almost ready to leave the nest and Dad has been into an adjacent hole excavating for the second brood, which will be laid almost immediately (last year they had three broods). When the young leave the nest they are not allowed back and are left to fend for themselves straight away. Dad is on the left, if you're interested. The light was a little gloomier than I'd have liked which meant pushing up the ISO but by slightly under exposing the image it really brought out the colours which were as bright as I'd ever seen them.
