Long-tailed Planigale (Planigale ingrami)

Do not let the smallest marsupial fool you with its cute looks. The Long-tailed Planigale is a ferocious predator, taking down large centipedes and other biting invertebrates that are larger than themselves. They live in soil cracks in Northern Australia's blacksoil plains.
