Siamo allo Stadio Olimpico di Roma in occasione della partita Roma -Torino (3-1) del Campionato di Calcio Italiano stagione 1971 -1972. La foto celebra la mitica "Curva Sud " , covo del tifo romanista.Negli anni immediatamente precedenti pochi erano gli striscioni esposti allo stadio, la gran parte dei tifosi era costituita, per lo più ,da gente di quartiere, ognuno lanciava i suoi cori senza un vero coordinamento. Dai primissimi anni '70 si attivarono i progenitori del movimento Ultras in Curva Sud. I gruppi principali di tifosi furono i Guerriglieri della Curva Sud, i Fedayn, i Boys, la Fossa dei Lupi. Fino al 1977 la Curva Sud, in sostanza, era rappresentata da una miriade di gruppi e gruppetti,tutti validi ma tutti divisi.

The photo celebrates the mythical "South Bend", typhoid Romanist's lair. In the few years immediately preceding the banners were on display at the stadium, most of the fans was made, mostly by people of the district, each poured forth his songs without any real coordination. From the early 70s were active in the progenitors of the movement Ultras Curva Sud fans were the main groups of guerrillas of the South Bend, the Fedayn, the Boys, Wolves of the Pit. Until 1977, South Bend, in essence, was represented by a myriad of groups and small groups, all valid, but all divided.
