Perchè ho intitolato questa foto IL TUNNEL????
Spesso all'uscita di un tunnel arriva la luce.
Sono gli anni '70 e pur trovandoci in una città abbastanza grande,ci troviamo in Sicilia e l'avvenire di questo bambino,nonostante la luce davanti a lui indicasse una strada, supponevo fosse in ogni caso molto difficile.
Data la mia giovane età c'era comunque la speranza di un miglioramento generale.
Mi è tornata tra le mani questa foto qualche tempo fa.Con una certa tristezza ho dovuto convenire che pur dopo circa 50 anni , i problemi sono certamente diversi, ma forse anche peggiori per quella generazione.

Why I titled this picture THE TUNNEL??
Often the exit of a tunnel, the light arrives.
In the 70s, and while we stand in a fairly large city, we are in Sicily and the future of this child, despite the light in front of him in respect of a road, I supposed it was in any case very difficult.
Given my young age, however, there was the hope of an improvement in general.
I came back in my hands this photo some time ago. With some sadness I have to agree that even after 50 years, the problems are certainly different, but perhaps even worse for that generation.
