Blue Jay
Lots of noise in the backyard as a family of Jays arrived with some very hungry and vocal youngsters. Parents headed to the peanut feeders while the youngsters waited in the trees for tidbits to be be fed to them. They then proceeded to the Pear tree where the parents gorged and the youngsters complained about not being fed. It won't take them long to figure it all out and start attacking the pears. Good thing there are lots of pears this year. There still should be some left for us.
