Sometimes nature is soft and gentle but other times it is rather brutal. We watched as this very pregnant female Otter dove under the ice and reappeared with a large Bull Frog. She probably dug in the mud and hauled him out of hibernation to bring him to the surface through a hole in the ice. She proceeded to tear the helpless frog apart as she feasted on it.
