Red Rock Falls Generating Station is a two-unit hydroelectric station and dam located on the Mississagi River, 6 km northwest of Iron Bridge, Ontario. The generating station was completed by Ontario Hydro in 1961. Red Rock Falls is now owned by Brookfield Renewable Power. The station has a total generating capacity of 41 MW at a head of 93 ft. (28.4 m) There are two Dominion Engineering turbines with a rated capacity of 26,500 hp, with a 6 fixed blade propellers, runner throat diameter of 11ft. 5in. (3.5 m), turning at 180 rpm, and the penstocks are 17ft. (5 m) in diameter. There are two Canadian General Electric generators with capacity of 22,500 kva per unit. Red Rock is an unattended station.
