Steve Jansen & Richard Barbieri - Closer Than I (Stone To Flesh)
I found this beautiful album for me born from the collaboration between Steve Jansen and Richard Barbieri, two of the four founders of Japan,
a British new wave band active from 1974 to 1982. David Sylvian (Steve's brother) and Mick Karn the other two components.
I have not found the lyrics of the song, so I don't know what it is about, but, knowing other music of these artists, I know that it will never be a very happy text. Let's say that they are artists who also show the darkness of the soul, without shame, like poets, painters, photographers. The combination of music, image and title seemed sufficient to me to choose it.
If you know the lyrics, I'd be grateful if you showed it to me.
