From Camelot to CON-a-Lot, the Times they are a-Changin'

From a mediocre president to the worst president, the Constitutional Republic has been slip sliding away as noted by

The Top Ten Cons of Barack Obama…

1. Domestic Spying

“We reject illegal wiretapping of American citizens, wherever they live. We reject the use of national security letters to spy on citizens who are not suspected of a crime. We reject the tracking of citizens who do nothing more than protest a misguided war.” -The 2008 Democratic Party Platform that Senator Obama ran on.

Yet in 2013, Whistleblower Snowden revealed Obama’s NSA surveillance program was spying on Americans.

2. President Obama’s $787 billion Porkulus Stimulus plan was passed to keep unemployment below 8% and reduce unemployment to 5.4% yet, there has been 43 consecutive months of unemployment above 8% under Barry Soetoro, Obama’s alter ego.

President Obama touted his 2009 Porkulus Stimulus plan would create thousands of shovel-ready jobs only to jokingly admit later that “shovel-ready was not so shovel ready.”

3. Obama blamed Bush for irresponsible deficits than Barry doubled the size of Bush’s deficits in half the time.

4. During his 2008 campaign, Obama promised to go after earmarks in bills “line by line” yet, Barry is famous for filling bills with barrels of pork.

5. During his 2008 campaign, Obama promised to end the Iraq War in 16 months yet, Barry as president withdrew the troops from Iraq 34 months later per Dubya Bush’s plan.

6. Keeping your Health plan under Obamacare

“If you like your health care plan, you’ll be able to keep your your health care plan, period.” Yet, Obamacare regulations will force 66% of small businesses to terminate their current health care plans by 2014 according to White House estimates.

7. In 2008, Senator Obama promised that his Obamacare will “lower your premiums by $2,500 per family per year.” Yet, Jonathan Gruber, who was the architect of RomneyCare and ObamaCare, admits that Obamacare will raise premiums by 19 to 30 percent.

8. Medicare Protection

President Obama promised, “I will protect Medicare… That is why not a dollar of the Medicare trust fund will be used to pay for this plan.” in his 2009 joint address to Congress yet, $700 billion was raided out of Medicare to pay for Obamacare.

9. Guantanamo Bay

During the first year of his presidency, “We will close the detention camp in Guantanamo Bay, the location of so many of the worst constitutional abuses in recent years.” Yet, Guantanamo Bay has not been closed.

10. Patriot Act

“We will revisit the Patriot Act and overturn unconstitutional executive decisions issued during the past eight years.”

Yet, Obama abandoned civil liberties when he approved extending the Patriot Act without any reforms.

On Feb 27, 2010, Obama extended three controversial provisions of the Patriot Act…

Authorize court-approved roving wiretaps that permit surveillance on multiple phones.

Allow court-approved seizure of records and property in anti-terrorism operations.

Permit surveillance against a so-called lone wolf, a non-U.S. citizen engaged in terrorism who may not be part of a recognized terrorist group.

In addition, Barry loves to push his CO2 Carbon Con based on the junk science of anthropogenic global warming ignoring the scientific evidence that man-made CO2 At 1.67 ppmv (0.000167 percent) is a negligible driver of heat-trapping Climate Change.

Obama ignores Solar Cycles, Solar Heat, and Water Vapor as the primary cause of global warming.

“there will never be another Camelot.” -Jacqueline Bouvier Kennedy who created the tragic Camelot myth to remember JFK's legacy.

Despite the increasing criticism of JFK, a Nov 7-10 Gallup Poll seems to indicate Americans are trying to hold on to the myth of Camelot as they "rate John F. Kennedy as the top American president of the last 60 years."
