I was taking photographs at the backstage of a Chinese opera being performed at Old Tampines Road when I spotted this actor reading an ominous article in the Chinese newspaper about his own opera troupe that might soon be disbanded due to lack of support. The title of the article roughly translates to: "Swan song of a hundred year-old Chinese opera troupe". I found this scene very touching and took the photo, lest we forget.
