SANKAREST Villa
“Great place, lovely people, best food”

We loved the place, as you can see by the picture from our balcony the garden and pool is kept immaculately.
Sunita's curries are to die for, of course we also ate good curry elsewhere during the rest of our stay, but none that came close when it comes to variety, colour, taste, presentation and quality of Sunitas (the lady of the house), she also really knows how to prepare the most wonderful fish, not to mention the breakfast.
The suite which we had upstairs was also really nice and lovingly prepared.
Everybody there made us really welcome and we instantly were made to feel part of the family. It was really nice watching the monkeys on the roof next door over breakfast.
You can just walk along the beach to several Turtle orphanages and a mangrove swamp boat trip is a must. Kosgoda itself is as dead as a dodo, however the beach is beautiful (although its not safe to swim duing the monsoon time because of big waves and current) which is not a big problem as any tuk tuk driver will take you where it is safe to swim.
If you wish to get your holiday off to a good start or just experience a bit of luxury and great food during your travels then I can thoroughly recommend staying at Sankarest.
