Another youngster scouring the dust on the streets of Zaveri Bazaar for specks of gold. Zaveri Bazaar is the 'jewelers' market" of Mumbai. Since artisans craft gold into jewelry, traders believe tht some tiny bits of gold make their way to the streets. No adult would perhaps undertake such a time consuming task, literally like finding a needle in a haystack. Hence children are employed and perhaps payed very low wages for finding gold.
