Container city, Van

 

 

Housing for people whose homes were destroyed in the 2011 earthquake, Van region, Turkey. There were 5 or 6 of these Container Cities dotted around the area. This was 12 months after the earthquake hit. The lack of adequate provision for those affected was a major social and political issue.
