50031 and 47489 - Oxford 30 March 1989

A question of what might have been. The 08:20 Paddington to Oxford and 10:00 return were sometimes used by Old Oak Common to test locos with the train engine. On this occasion, rather than a pair of Class 50s, 50031 Hood worked with Class 47/4 no 47489.
