Welsh in the West Highlands
When newly refurbished in late 1985/early 1986, Class 37/4 no 37428 was allocated to Cardiff Canton and subsequently named David Lloyd George. However, by the mid-1990s the loco had migrated north to Scotland and became a regular working first out of Inverness then on the West Highland. I had it several times into and out of Fort William, the first time as seen on 8 June 1995.
