This is a closer photo and you can see the different patterns.
The smallest buttons are only 1cm wide and the largest ones are 1 and 3/4 cms wide.
The two apricot ones are beautiful.
The plain white one in front of the apricot ones is all fabric.
They were very stained by age and I have soaked them gently in mild soap and they do look a lot better.
Several of them did not survive the half hour soak but this allowed me to see how they were made.I don't think they would survive on my WISP white piece that I am supposed to be working on but I may include some in a pocket for Susan.
