Close up centre

Here I added some Guipure lace flowers which were given to me by a friend -the fabric was part of her wedding dress from over 40 years ago.

There is piece of fine lace above them with Running Stitch across the middle and French knots in the flower centres.

This lace was added because I had been trying to stitch my daughters name using waste canvas and I kept making mistakes and the fabric had more holes in it than a seive.
