Minions & the Cheesewring 101018. One of the three stone circles at Minions, on the edge of Dartmoor. These stones are often referred to as the Hurlers, in mythology recalling people playing the sport of hurling on the Sabbath, for which they were turned to stone. The three late Neolithic or early Bronze Age ceremonial stone circles are arranged in a line, a grouping unique in England.
