Thanks to Christo3furr for posting about the new Disney dolls and plush at JCPenny, and to Dementor92 for giving me a heads up and a link.

 

New Disney Princess dolls 9 piece set, released by JCPenney. They are missing Pocahontas and Mulan, but have added Merida. They look like mostly 2013 version of the faces and hair, but with the 2009 bodies with rubber legs and stiff arms, and with the outfits from the 2011 and 2012 10-pack doll sets. They look much better to me than the 2013 Disney Store 11-piece Classic Film Princess Doll set (available in the UK, but not yet in the US), since this don't have any glitter, and have the more film accurate old outfits. Despite what the JCPenney specifications say, the dolls are 11 1/2'' tall, not 13''. They come in a sturdy box with carrying handle, and the dolls are visible through a large clear plastic window, with their names and the dates of their original animated film releases.
