The Castle has been deboxed. Here it is with the rear half opened up to the sides, so the inner spaces can be utilized, and so the special effects activated by the 'key' figures can be accessed.
I got the Disney Animators' Collection Deluxe Sleeping Beauty Castle Play Set today. It came in a huge box. The castle has three stories, and the back opens up make it almost twice as wide. It has 17 figures including many of the cast of the animated Sleeping Beauty. Princess Aurora and Prince Phillip are depicted as toddlers. Many of the figures have glitter, but they don't shed too much. There is a button in the front of the castle that activates simulated fireworks lights and sounds. Aurora, Phillip and the three Good Fairies have magnets on their bases. When placed on or near the blue crown symbols printed on the floor, they activate special effects. I show the special effects in several short videos. It is a very cute playset, but since I don't have room to display it, it has already gone back in its box, for storage.
P.S. To get the full effects, you have to move the switch under the castle from Test (I) to On (O with vertical line through it).
