Singing Elsa vs LE 100 Elsa 17'' Dolls - Undressed - Lying Down - Full Front View
The Singing Elsa and LE 100 Elsa 17'' dolls are completely undressed, in preparation for switching outfits. They are posed lying down side by side, so they can be compared. Although Singing Elsa is listed as 16'' by the Disney Store, she is actually 16.5'' tall, as is the LE doll. They have the same basic body construction, with some significant differences. The LE doll has a shiny pearly texture to her skin, and is a slightly darker shade of purplish pink. The LE doll has fully articulated arms, with ball jointed elbows and wrists, whereas the singing doll has fixed hands and elbows that bend but don't rotate, due to her glowing forearms. The LE doll also has an upper torso joint, that permits a small amount of side to side and front to back bending of her upper body. The LE doll's painted on panties are a much lighter shade of blue green, which matches her lighter color satin dress. Of course, the singing doll has a sound mechanism, with consists of a sound speaker behind the heart shaped set of holes in the upper back, a battery compartment, and an on/off power switch. When she sings, her arms also glow, with a pulsating light that is synchronized with the singing. They have the same head sculpt, but are painted much differently, and of course the LE doll has rooted eyelashes, whereas the singing doll has just painted on eyelashes.
