Wall of Designer Dolls - Fairytale vs. Princess Designer Collection Dolls - Disney Store - In Display Cases
Here is a section of my wall of Designer Dolls, which compares the 2013 Disney Fairytale Designer Collection Doll Sets with the corresponding 2011 Disney Princess Designer Collection Dolls. For added measure, the D23 Gold Designer Fairytale Snow White set is shown over the Designer Princess Cinderella.
My collection of the complete set of the Disney Store's Limited Edition Designer Dolls, from 2011 through 2013. They are stacked up in three rows of up to eight doll cases. I am only missing the D23 Exclusive Silver Cinderella Princess Designer Doll. I have arranged the dolls so that similar dolls from the different series are in the same column.
The top row is the most recent Disney Fairytale Designer Collection Doll Sets (2013), with the D23 Gold Snow White and the Prince the first in the row (#114 of 600). The rest of the Fairytale dolls are from the pre-order, and are all numbered 12 of 6000, except for Snow White, who is #4508 of 6000. The pre-order dolls I have not deboxed, although I have opened the cover of the Ariel and Eric set and adjusted Ariel a bit.
On the middle row is eight of the ten Disney Princess Designer Collection Dolls (2011). They have all been completely deboxed, then placed back in their display cases, with the cardboard backing and all plastic packaging removed. Pocahontas and Mulan of the collection are on the bottom row. They were bought separately, and have varying edition numbers.
Finally, the first six dolls of the bottom row are the Disney Villains Designer Collection Dolls (2012). They are all from the pre-order match set, with the same edition number of 278 of 13,000. They have not been deboxed; the cases have not even been opened.
