Time

This morning I watched

a mushroom

eat a stump.

I ate the mushroom

and the stump ate time.

10,000 years ago

became now

as ice receded

leaving kettles

hovering above till.

Eventually the spores

showed me two things-

-our star was aging out

-eventually and aging out

are meaningless.

Just names.
