Animation
I think that the animation is good, however I think it has more room for improvement. I slightly deviated from certain aspects of my video reference. This was initially an unintentional occurrence whilst animating, but as I refined the animation further it seemed to work better in comparison the animation fully based on the reference. I edited the graph editor dependent on the action. I feel as though i could have improved the initial steps at the first few seconds. I think i the timing of the hat deformation had a lot of rooms for improvement, it seemed to bend at random sections of the animation.
I attempted to place as much of the 12 principles in the animation.
The graph editor helped me a lot in making this animation very fluid in terms of the ease in and ease out principle of animation. I also attempted to place a squash and stretch on the sudden movements in the animation such as the drop. The bounce after his drop was an exaggeration of the drop. For staging I added a few camera effects such as a camera shake, just for further emphasis on his actions. For secondary and follow through action I chose to animated the hat in dependent on the character's movement.
