Jed Calhoun Rutter, our 2010/11 Walmart Champion Child, is a familiar and friendly face to different departments and clinics at the Stollery Children's Hospital. On November 17, Jed received a unique surprise at his school - an adorable and one-of-a-kind teddy bear designed to look just like him! The Jed bear will be sold at BMO Bank of Montreal, CIBC, RBC, and Scotiabanks throughout northern Alberta.
We expect that these special bears will be sold out by Christmas. Large bears sell for $20 and smaler ones for $12, with all proceeds of the bears, made custom by Gund plush, going to raise funds for the state-of-the-art facilities here at Stollery Children's Hospital.
