Through Rosthwaite village, pasture, directly up the hill to Castle Crag. goo.gl/ru65lS (WalkLakes) Last walk of the day, and we were quite tired by the time we reached the heap of slate which had been formed into a zig-zag ramp up to the crag, but the slate rock garden above mimicked the stone circle we'd begun the day with, and the summit was all that could be wished in the late afternoon light.
