Lights! Camera! Action! South Campus' annual film fest has rolled in. Despite technical difficulties, this event was still a great success. Usually held in Late December or early January, the film fest is a fun, family event to showcase student work.
"The movies were really funny. It was great to see White Bear students as the stars!" said Pakou Thao, a former White Bear Lake student.
The film fest featured many short films by the film production and photojournalism classes at WBLAHS. And of course, it did not disappoint.
With topics ranging from skateboarding to teleporting, and even a public service announcement about moustaches.
With a $2 admission fee, this event is both affordable and fun. Proceeds went to local people or charities in need as well.
"The film fest is such a great thing to go to," said Panou Xiong, a senior at South Campus. "It makes me believe that even still as students, we still have the potential to do anything."
