Day 5547 - Day 69 - HIIT The Floor
Today makes 180 days until I go on my epic mountain climbing adventure. I have been adopting the HIIT exercise regimes- high intensity interval training. So essentially you still kill yourself working out, just in smaller doses. Only joking, I never push my body that far except on the rare (daily) occasion. I am looking to build the endurance for a long hike, and the work to get my lung capacity up where I can withstand a high heart rate for longer and longer periods of time.
Of course I plan rests along the way when I hike- that is a must. But with 25 miles to climb and a 7,500 ft. elevation gain ahead of me, the fewer stop and go's I take, the better my chances of success will be.
