6. Personal Journal
Personal Journal. This is my first journal that I started in 2005 and completed in 2008. Well, this is two thirds of my journal, there are still 1,000 pages that didn’t fit (They kept spilling over). I have worked out so many issues and thoughts in my journal, some encompassing death of loved ones and hurts from my past… but I really touched God through this journal and vice versa. I know that this was a gift given to me- as a way to touch the divine inside me. I worked through and discovered so many truths in my hour after hour of journaling… like I said, not all paths we take are conventional!
There is a lot of God in this journal- literally. The runic texts at the top and bottom of the pages are favorite scriptures of mine- ones that really touched me. One time I saw someone looking at the pages and they asked if I worshiped the Devil. I laughed and said “Good, Lord no, why would you think that?” Their response was “Well that devil writing at the top I thought you were.” I then proceeded to show them the code that I use and they were really taken aback. They didn’t quite know how to process that what they’d been told (Runic texts are all of the devil) wasn’t always right! What a concept!
I am still planning on publishing this as an art book this year- a lot of pages I know, but that’s what I somehow feel led to do!
