Evolution of bikes

In the next couple of weeks I am going build up three different bikes that represent the evolution of the mountain bike.

Rigid Indy Fab- In the early to mid 90's Fat Chance represented the apex of smart, fast and fun bikes. This is a replica of a close 2nd or a cousin- A Rhygin copy, replete with 1 inch headset. Indy Fab of course rose from the ashes of Fat when Chris Chance left Boston for upstate NY. Random Factoid: Rumor has it, confirmed by my own eyes, that many of the Fats that came during this period were actually made by FTW at Spooky.

Yeti- more of a semi classic as this is a 2008 version, NOT the true Durango made Arc. Fox F80 fork and a hodge podge of parts should make this a race rocket. Light and stiff.

Santa Cruz Nomad- The modern trail bike. Fox 36 and meaty tires make it the antithesis of the rigid Indy Fab.

Should be an interesting mix of bikes.
