I wanted this house to have a fireplace, and J says that usually the chimney ascends on the outside-- all that is interior is the mantel piece. So I needed a chimney structure for the outside of the house. I built this frame for it from cardboard (the back of one of J's notebooks) and popcycle sticks.
I put extra bracing pieces inside so that hopefully it will have some structural integrity to it.
