2021 TDF The Man in Yellow
Tadej Pogačar (1998) is a Slovenian cyclist.
A specialist in stage races, he began to make a name for himself in 2019 by winning, at the age of twenty, the Tour of the Algarve and the Tour of California, and by placing third in the Tour of Spain in which he won three stages.
In 2020, he became the first Slovenian winner of the Tour de France and the youngest winner since the 1904 edition: he took the yellow jersey from his compatriot Primož Roglič during the time trial of the penultimate stage at the Planche des Belles Filles.
In 2021, he won once again the Tour de France, the second in two participations, as well as several prestigious races, such as Tirreno-Adriatico, Liège-Bastogne-Liège and the Tour de Slovenia.
