Xylocopa Virginica, Eastern Carpenter Bee Inflight Capture 1 - Anaglyph 3D
I was taking many single captures of a carpenter bee hovering around and protecting its nesting area one day. A couple shots worked well enough to combine together to create a cha-cha style 3D image of the bee itself, though the background areas from each shot were rather different and causing harsh eye rivalries. So I just cloned one image's background around the bee in the second image some so it wouldn't cause too much eye strain. This was the result and also why the background is kind of flat looking compared to the hovering bee!
Now that I have the Photoshop file created of the bee, I may go back and try cropping the bee images separately, adding them to another higher quality full 3D background for a better looking, and more naturally flowing image.
