Also sometimes known as the Smooth Japanese Maple or the Palmate Maple. This Japanese Maple has been cultivated around the world since the 1800s with the first specimen arriving in Britain in 1921. The branches and leaves from these trees are used in traditional Chinese medicine. You cant beat the autumn colours from these tree at all.
